So what’s the difference between the different numbers?
0871
A 0871 number is a Fixed Rate Tariff number and is classified as a controlled premium rate service (PRS), as all 0871 numbers are accompanied by pricing information as well as information regarding call waiting times in order to ensure price transparency and customer protection.
You as a 0871 number holder do not pay anything to receive calls but receive rebate on calls on the call charge where the price per minute is 5 pence or more up to 10 pence, allowing you as the number holder to increase revenue for each called received.
To activate your 0871 number all you have to pay is our one-off administration fee for diverting the 0871 number to a UK land line. There are no weekly charges, no rental fees, no monthly charges, no call charges and no daily charges.
0870
A 0870 number is a National Call Rate number in other words when a 0870 numbers is called in the UK, the caller will be charged for the call, and you as the number holder will receive rebates for the callers charge.
It is however essential for the 0870 number holder to indicate the price per minute of calls to the caller.

0845
A 0845 number is a local call number, you as a 0845 number holder will not be charged to receive calls, only the caller will be require to pay a local call price when calling a 0845 number anywhere in the UK.
To activate your 0845 number all you have to pay is our one-off administration fee for diverting the 0845 number to a UK land line. There are no weekly charges, no rental fees, no monthly charges, no call charges and no daily charges.
0800
A 0800 number is a freephone number. Allowing your customers to call you for free from anywhere in the UK hence increasing significant numbers of contacts and enquiries you receive. However you as the holder will be charged a fee for calls received.
To activate your 0800 number all you have to pay is our one-off administration fee for diverting the 0800 number to your phone land line. There are no annual fees, services charges, weekly charges or daily charges.
